xml:id="end0500002"/>，便以石蜜置王 <lb ed="T" n="0500a12"/>宫门，作事自陈。如是月日之中无有问者，恚 <lb ed="T" n="0500a13"/>曰：“彼王亦是人，我亦是人，眼耳鼻口四大 <lb ed="T" n="0500a14"/>俱尔，乃不可得一见与言语也。何则？王福德 <lb ed="T" n="0500a15"/>勝人故也。吾亦当作功德，当令王不觉来归 <lb ed="T" n="0500a16"/>我。”时遂行作沙门，以蜜供养三尊，求一静 <lb ed="T" n="0500a17"/>处思惟苦空非身，使其未半，意解无缚得六 <lb ed="T" n="0500a18"/>通道，诸能一处不移成罗汉者，地为震动， <lb n="0500a19" ed="T"/>帝释诸天应来慰问，于是天帝诸天人皆下， <lb ed="T" n="0500a20"/>作礼助其欢喜。比丘问天帝：“卿等天上尽何 <lb n="0500a21" ed="T"/>所为？”答曰：“天上有四戏观园，三处是五欲 <lb n="0500a22" ed="T"/>处，一处是道德，在中或论<persName>佛</persName>贵典，或时论 <lb ed="T" n="0500a23"/>天下四辈精进持法者。”比丘曰：“论持<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500003" n="0500003"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0500003" n="0500003"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500003" n="0500003"/>者<anchor xml:id="end0500006"/>盖 <lb n="0500b03" ed="T"/>来但欲睡眠，使人作锥长八寸，睡来时便刺 <lb ed="T" n="0500b04"/>两髀，以疮痛不睡，一年之中得应真道；天 <lb ed="T" n="0500b05"/>亦歎未曾有也。复有一人在拘睒尼国亦作沙 <lb n="0500b06" ed="T"/>门，在山石室峻险，卒无能得往来者。时魔 <lb ed="T" n="0500b07"/>波旬见其精进，便化作水牛，在比丘前鸣鼻 <lb ed="T" n="0500b08"/>角目，以欲触之，比丘甚畏而思曰：‘此间牛 <lb ed="T" n="0500b09"/>所不能得至，何以有此？得无是魔所为也？’ <lb n="0500b10" ed="T"/>即<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500007" n="0500b11"/>本形。比丘语魔：‘卿恐我何求？’魔言：‘见道人精 <lb n="0500b12" ed="T"/>勤恐出我界去，故来相恐矣。’比丘说言：‘我 <lb n="0500b13" ed="T"/>所以作沙门者求度世间，<persName>佛</persName>有相好欲见之 <lb ed="T" n="0500b14"/>耳，<persName>佛</persName>以去世无能见者，闻魔能变作<persName>佛</persName>身，为 <lb n="0500b15" ed="T"/>吾现之，吾便不复精进也。’魔其当然即化为 <lb ed="T" n="0500b16"/><persName>佛</persName>，在前立，思惟即得应真，诸天空中称善无 <lb n="0500b17" ed="T"/>量，魔悔愁毒即时灭去。”</p><p xml:id="pT04p0500b1710" cb:place="inline">天帝语比丘：“是三 <lb n="0500b18" ed="T"/>人诸天所歎，于今未休。”比丘语天帝：“此三人 <lb ed="T" n="0500b19"/>者，明识苦空是以朽身。吾本无意为人所轻， <lb n="0500b20" ed="T"/>遂行求道得出三界，亦复奇妙亦得应真。”诸 <lb n="0500b21" ed="T"/>天报曰：“今还天上以道人上头第一。”于是诸 <lb n="0500b22" ed="T"/>天作礼而去。于是国王闻石蜜主勤行得道， <lb n="0500b23" ed="T"/>即<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500010" n="0500b25" ed="T"/><cb:div type="other"><cb:mulu level="1" n="6" type="其他">6</cb:mulu><head>（六）</head><p xml:id="pT04p0500b2502" cb:place="inline">昔有一病人，众医不能治<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500012" n="0500012"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0500012" n="0500012"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500012" n="0500012"/>差<anchor xml:id="end0500012"/>，径来投国 <lb ed="T" n="0500b26"/>王，王名萨和檀，以身归大王：“慈愿治我病。” <lb ed="T" n="0500b27"/>王即付诸师，敕令为治病。诸医启王：“此药 <lb n="0500b28" ed="T"/>不可得。”王问诸师曰：“其药名何等？”“世无五 <lb ed="T" n="0500b29"/>毒人其肉中作汤，服此便得<anchor xml:id="beg_4" type="star"/>差<anchor xml:id="end_4"/>。何等为五 <pb ed="T" xml:id="T04.0204.0500c" n="0500c"/> <lb n="0500c01" ed="T"/>毒？一者无贪婬心，二者无嗔恚心，三者无 <lb n="0500c02" ed="T"/>愚痴心，四者无妒嫉心，五者无<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_add_0500c0201" n="0500c0201"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500c0201" n="0500c0201"/>剋<anchor xml:id="end0500c0201"/>虐心。若 <lb ed="T" n="0500c03"/>有此人者，其病便愈。”王告诸师曰：“此人来归 <lb n="0500c04" ed="T"/>我，唯我无此毒。”即割身上肉与之令合汤， <lb n="0500c05" ed="T"/>病者服愈便发摩诃衍。</p></cb:div> <lb n="0500c06" ed="T"/><cb:div type="other"><cb:mulu n="7" type="其他" level="1">7</cb:mulu><head>（七）</head><p xml:id="pT04p0500c0602" cb:place="inline">昔有迦罗越，常愿见<name role="" type="person">文殊师利</name>。迦罗越便 <lb n="0500c07" ed="T"/>大佈施幷设高座讫，便有一<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500013" n="0500013"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0500013" n="0500013"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500013" n="0500013"/>老翁<anchor xml:id="end0500013"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500014" n="0500014"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0500014" n="0500014"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500014" n="0500014"/>甚<anchor xml:id="end0500014"/>大醜 <lb n="0500c08" ed="T"/>恶，眼中眵出、鼻中洟出、口中唾出，迦罗越见 <lb n="0500c09" ed="T"/>在高座上便起意：“我今日施高座，高<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500015" n="0500015"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0500015" n="0500015"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500015" n="0500015"/>尙<anchor xml:id="end0500015"/>沙 <lb ed="T" n="0500c10"/>门当在其上，汝是何等人？”便牵著地。佈施讫， <lb ed="T" n="0500c11"/>迦罗越便燃灯烧香著<persName>佛</persName>寺中，言：“持是功德 <lb ed="T" n="0500c12"/>现世见<name role="" type="person">文殊师利</name>。”便自还归家疲极卧，梦有 <lb ed="T" n="0500c13"/>人语言：“汝欲见<name role="" type="person">文殊师利</name>，见之不识，近前高 <lb n="0500c14" ed="T"/>座上<anchor xml:id="beg_5" type="star"/>老翁<anchor xml:id="end_5"/>正是<name role="" type="person">文殊师利</name>，汝便牵著地。如 <lb n="0500c15" ed="T"/>是前後七返，见之不识，当那得见<name role="" type="person">文殊师利</name>？” <lb n="0500c16" ed="T"/>若人求菩萨道，一切当等心于人。求菩萨道 <lb n="0500c17" ed="T"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500016" n="0500016"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0500016" n="0500016"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500016" n="0500016"/>者<anchor xml:id="end0500016"/>，<name role="" type="person">文殊师利</name>便往试之，当觉是意。</p></cb:div> <lb ed="T" n="0500c18"/><cb:div type="other"><cb:mulu n="8" type="其他" level="1">8</cb:mulu><head>（八）</head><p xml:id="pT04p0500c1802" cb:place="inline">为无常家说譬喩。有一大树，其果如二升 <lb ed="T" n="0500c19"/>甁，其果垂熟，有乌飞来住树枝上方住，果 <lb ed="T" n="0500c20"/>落乌头杀。树神见此，而作偈言：</p> <lb ed="T" n="0500c21"/><lg type="regular" xml:id="lgT04p0500c2101"><l>“乌来不求死，</l><l>果堕不为乌，</l> <lb ed="T" n="0500c22"/><l>果熟乌应死，</l><l>因缘会使尔。”</l></lg> <lb ed="T" n="0500c23"/><p xml:id="pT04p0500c2301">人在世间罪福会迟速合，无有前却，黠人得 <lb n="0500c24" ed="T"/>罪不怨、得福不喜，尔乃为谛信<persName>佛</persName>言受持不 <lb ed="T" n="0500c25"/>離。三界之中有九十六种道，世人各奉其所 <lb n="0500c26" ed="T"/>事，冀神有益，此诸小道未晓为福，岂能<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0500017" n="0500017"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0500017" n="0500017"/><anchor xml:id="beg0500017" n="0500017"/>执<anchor xml:id="end0500017"/> <lb ed="T" n="0500c27"/>德？所以尔者，不识三尊之上明，不执五戒之 <lb ed="T" n="0500c28"/>淸真，无有八正之深见，岂能祐济于人乎？是 <lb ed="T" n="0500c29"/>以名之薄田耳。</p></cb:div> cb:place="inline">有能敬<persName>佛</persName>三尊，<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501001" n="0501001"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501001" n="0501001"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501001" n="0501001"/>监<anchor xml:id="end0501001"/>通三世，明天堂之福， <lb n="0501a02" ed="T"/>审太山之罪，至信三宝以塞三涂，强智慧之 <lb n="0501a03" ed="T"/>力以消三界痴冥，修六净神水以荡六患之 <lb ed="T" n="0501a04"/>秽，故能轻财损身口分，行等之施，以树来 <lb n="0501a05" ed="T"/>世之本，施一万报疾若响应，故言：“大道三界 <lb ed="T" n="0501a06"/>之良田也。”何以明之？昔<name role="" type="person">阿育王</name>曾作小儿，时 <lb n="0501a07" ed="T"/>道遇<persName>佛</persName>不勝欢喜，以少沙土至心奉<persName>佛</persName>，由此 <lb ed="T" n="0501a08"/>之福故得为圣王，典主四十万里十六大国。 <lb ed="T" n="0501a09"/>以此明之，<persName>佛</persName>最为良田。昔<persName>佛</persName>弟难陀，乃往 <lb ed="T" n="0501a10"/>昔<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501002" n="0501002"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501002" n="0501002"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501002" n="0501002"/>唯<anchor xml:id="end0501002"/>卫<persName>佛</persName>时人，一洗众僧之福，功德自追 <lb ed="T" n="0501a11"/>生在释种，身<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501003" n="0501003"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501003" n="0501003"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501003" n="0501003"/>珮<anchor xml:id="end0501003"/>五六之相，神容晃煜金色， <lb n="0501a12" ed="T"/>乘前世之福与<persName>佛</persName>同世，研精道场便得六通。 <lb ed="T" n="0501a13"/>古人施一犹有弘报，况今檀越能多行者乎？ <lb ed="T" n="0501a14"/>普等之行必逮尊号，加增欢喜廣度一切。</p></cb:div> <lb ed="T" n="0501a15"/><cb:div type="other"><cb:mulu level="1" type="其他" n="10">10</cb:mulu><head>（一〇）</head><p xml:id="pT04p0501a1503" cb:place="inline"><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501004" n="0501004"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501004" n="0501004"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501004" n="0501004"/>法<anchor xml:id="end0501004"/>言：“染神亿劫不朽，煎熬生死，得道 <lb n="0501a16" ed="T"/>乃止。”昔<persName>佛</persName>泥曰後五百十年，有一国王，精进 <lb ed="T" n="0501a17"/>勇猛世所稀有，供养六万沙门三月一时，甘 <lb ed="T" n="0501a18"/>香肴膳极世之味，最上座道人博综群籍探 <lb ed="T" n="0501a19"/>古达今，得应真。去此国东四百八十里有一 <lb ed="T" n="0501a20"/>国王，供养五百婆罗门，亦尽世之美，作百 <lb ed="T" n="0501a21"/>种幢幡装<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_add_0501a2101" n="0501a2101"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501a2101" n="0501a2101"/>挍<anchor xml:id="end0501a2101"/>缯綵、绵<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501005" n="0501005"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501005" n="0501005"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501005" n="0501005"/>洁<anchor xml:id="end0501005"/>、金宝、杂物，一幢直五 <lb ed="T" n="0501a22"/>百两金，以此伎乐而娱乐之。其有能作此技 <lb n="0501a23" ed="T"/>艺者，便以与之。诸国贫人闻彼国王有此宝 <lb n="0501a24" ed="T"/>物，各各四面雲集合五百人，路由精舍，各 <lb ed="T" n="0501a25"/>习技艺欲取彼宝，粮食乏尽不能得达，便诣 <lb ed="T" n="0501a26"/>上座前求作沙门。上座即观之，乃<anchor xml:id="beg_6" type="star"/>唯<anchor xml:id="end_6"/>卫<persName>佛</persName> <lb n="0501a27" ed="T"/>时贤者家奴客，曾为道人作食饮，又闻法言， <lb n="0501a28" ed="T"/>从是<anchor xml:id="beg_7" type="star"/>以<anchor xml:id="end_7"/>来天上人中受福自然，福今始尽法 <lb n="0501a29" ed="T"/>言故存，此等可度。便下鬚发授以戒法，将 <pb ed="T" xml:id="T04.0204.0501b" n="0501b"/> <lb n="0501b01" ed="T"/>入宫，食还大欢喜。师知其意，为说此饭不可 <lb n="0501b02" ed="T"/>妄食，人无至诚而食此饭者，当纍劫为王作 <lb n="0501b03" ed="T"/>牛马奴婢。五百新学比丘，闻此恐怖，励志精 <lb ed="T" n="0501b04"/>进，九十日皆得应真。比丘<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501006" n="0501006"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501006" n="0501006"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501006" n="0501006"/>已<anchor xml:id="end0501006"/>得道，欲自说 <lb ed="T" n="0501b05"/>本末，便大走行，唤入王门，“共相扑来！三毒、十 <lb n="0501b06" ed="T"/>二因缘、五阴、六衰我皆扑之，谁能与我对者？” <lb n="0501b07" ed="T"/>众<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501007" n="0501007"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501007" n="0501007"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501007" n="0501007"/>坐<anchor xml:id="end0501007"/>愕然：“此何言也？”比丘曰：“吾等本习技 <lb ed="T" n="0501b08"/>艺，<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501008" n="0501008"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501008" n="0501008"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501008" n="0501008"/>欲取<anchor xml:id="end0501008"/>彼宝利养，为沙门自致罗汉，三界众 <lb n="0501b09" ed="T"/>邪吾等已扑灭之，蒙大师恩快乐无极。”</p></cb:div> <lb n="0501b10" ed="T"/><cb:div type="other"><cb:mulu level="1" n="11" type="其他">11</cb:mulu><head>（一一）</head><p xml:id="pT04p0501b1003" cb:place="inline">昔<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501009" n="0501009"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501009" n="0501009"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501009" n="0501009"/>者<anchor xml:id="end0501009"/>兄弟二人居，大势富贵资财无量， <lb n="0501b11" ed="T"/>父母终亡无所依仰。虽为兄弟志念各异，兄 <lb n="0501b12" ed="T"/>好道谊；弟爱家业官爵俸禄，贪世荣色。居近 <lb n="0501b13" ed="T"/>波利弗鸡鸣精舍，去之不远。兄专行学咨受 <lb n="0501b14" ed="T"/>经道，不预家计，其弟见兄不亲家事恒嫌恨 <lb n="0501b15" ed="T"/>之：“共为兄弟，父母早终，勤苦念生活，反弃 <lb n="0501b16" ed="T"/>家业追逐沙门听受<persName>佛</persName>经。沙门岂能与汝衣 <lb n="0501b17" ed="T"/>财宝耶？家转贫狭财物日耗，人所嗤笑，谓之 <lb ed="T" n="0501b18"/>懈废门户绝灭。凡为人子当立功效，继续父 <lb ed="T" n="0501b19"/>母功勋不废，乃为孝子耳。”兄报之曰：“五戒、 <lb n="0501b20" ed="T"/>十善、供养三宝、行六度、坐禅念定，以道化亲， <lb n="0501b21" ed="T"/>乃为孝耳。道俗相反自然之数，道之所乐俗 <lb ed="T" n="0501b22"/>之所恶，俗之所珍道之所贱。智愚不同谋，犹 <lb n="0501b23" ed="T"/>明冥不<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501010" n="0501010"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501010" n="0501010"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501010" n="0501010"/>可<anchor xml:id="end0501010"/>共处。是故，慧人去冥就明以致道 <lb ed="T" n="0501b24"/>真。卿今所乐，苦恼之<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501011" n="0501011"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501011" n="0501011"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501011" n="0501011"/>我<anchor xml:id="end0501011"/>。一切空无虚伪不 <lb ed="T" n="0501b25"/>真，迷谬计有，岂知苦辛？”其弟含恚<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501012" n="0501012"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501012" n="0501012"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501012" n="0501012"/><g ref="#CB00376">䫌</g><anchor xml:id="end0501012"/>头不 <lb ed="T" n="0501b26"/>信，兄见如是便谓曰：“卿贪家事以财为贵， <lb n="0501b27" ed="T"/>吾好经道以慧为珍。今欲捨家皈命福田，计 <lb ed="T" n="0501b28"/>命寄世忽若飞尘，无常猝至为罪所缠，是故 <lb n="0501b29" ed="T"/>捨世避危就安。”弟见兄意志趣道谊，寂然无 <pb n="0501c" ed="T" xml:id="T04.0204.0501c"/> <lb ed="T" n="0501c01"/>报。兄则去家行作沙门，夙夜精进诵经念道， <lb n="0501c02" ed="T"/>一心坐禅分别思惟，未曾休息懈怠，即<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501013" n="0501013"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501013" n="0501013"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501013" n="0501013"/>具<anchor xml:id="end0501013"/> <lb n="0501c03" ed="T"/>根、力三十七品，行合经法成道果证。往到弟 <lb n="0501c04" ed="T"/>所劝令奉法：“五戒十善生天之本，佈施学问 <lb ed="T" n="0501c05"/>道慧之基。”弟闻此言嗔恚更盛，即答兄曰： <lb ed="T" n="0501c06"/>“卿自应废，不亲家业毁壞门户，可独为此勿 <lb n="0501c07" ed="T"/>复教我，疾出门去莫预我事。”兄便捨去。弟 <lb ed="T" n="0501c08"/>贪家业汲汲不休，未曾以法而住其心，然後 <lb ed="T" n="0501c09"/>寿终堕牛中，肥盛甚大。贾客买取载盐贩之， <lb ed="T" n="0501c10"/>往返有数，牛遂羸顿不能复前，上坂困顿躄 <lb n="0501c11" ed="T"/>卧不起，贾人策挝摇头纔动。时兄遊行飞在 <lb n="0501c12" ed="T"/>虚空，遥见如是，即时思惟：“知从何来？”观见 <lb n="0501c13" ed="T"/>其本，本是其弟，便谓之曰：“弟！汝所居舍宅田 <lb n="0501c14" ed="T"/>地，汲汲所乐今为所在？而自投身堕牛畜中。” <lb n="0501c15" ed="T"/>即以威神照示本命，即自识知，泪出自责：“<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501014" n="0501014"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501014" n="0501014"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501014" n="0501014"/>本<anchor xml:id="end0501014"/> <lb ed="T" n="0501c16"/>行不善悭贪嫉妒，不信<persName>佛</persName>法轻慢圣众，快心 <lb ed="T" n="0501c17"/>恣意不信兄语，违戾圣教觝突自用，故堕牛 <lb ed="T" n="0501c18"/>中疲顿困劣，悔当何逮？”兄知心念怆然哀伤， <lb ed="T" n="0501c19"/>即为牛主说其本末事状如是：“本是我弟，不 <lb ed="T" n="0501c20"/>信三尊背真向伪，悭妒自恣贪求不施，堕牛 <lb ed="T" n="0501c21"/>中，羸瘦困劣甚可愍伤，今已老极疲不中用， <lb n="0501c22" ed="T"/>幸以惠我济其残命。”<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501015" n="0501015"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501015" n="0501015"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501015" n="0501015"/>贾<anchor xml:id="end0501015"/>人闻之便以施与， <lb n="0501c23" ed="T"/>即将牛去还至寺中，使念三宝饭食随时，其 <lb n="0501c24" ed="T"/>命终尽得生忉利。时众贾客各自念言：“我等 <lb ed="T" n="0501c25"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0501016" n="0501016"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0501016" n="0501016"/><anchor xml:id="beg0501016" n="0501016"/>勤劳<anchor xml:id="end0501016"/>治生无厌，不能施与又不奉法、不识道谊， <lb ed="T" n="0501c26"/>死亦恐然不免此类。”便共出舍，捐其妻子弃 <lb ed="T" n="0501c27"/>所珍玩，行作沙门精进不懈，皆亦得道。由 <lb ed="T" n="0501c28"/>是观之，世间财宝不益于人，奉敬三尊修身 <lb n="0501c29" ed="T"/>学慧，博闻行道世世获安。</p></cb:div> <pb n="0502a" ed="T" xml:id="T04.0204.0502a"/> <lb n="0502a01"
